Being Social (CURRENTLY ON-HOLD)

Being Social is a group intended to address barriers to having friends or relationships after ABI. In Part 1, the group will focus on basic social skills and pragmatics that are required to be successful at meeting people and maintaining friendships. Topics addressed in Part 1 include making a good first impression, understanding non-verbal communication, and how to meet people. Part 2 of the group reviews basic social skills but focuses on dating and relationships. Topics covered include relationship myths, stages of relationships, different types of relationships and how to meet people. No Cost for those qualifying for subsidy. Part 1 = 12 weeks, Part 2 = 12 weeks.
